Communications and Public Affairs
In an age of 24/7 media, independent web sites and blogging, organizations and their leaders must be constantly aware of the communications environment and be prepared to respond at a moments notice. The GRS team is highly experienced at managing client communication needs from issue advocacy, crisis management, executive media training and government and community relations. We understand what it takes to win.
GRS approaches communications and public affairs by researching the needs of target audiences and decision-makers thoroughly. We analyze relevant past history to identify patterns, isolate key media narratives and build a network of primary and secondary players - all as part of our thorough communications strategy development process.
Communication Strategies
GRS believes the number one rule in communications is being prepared - for any and all contingencies. We do this through aggressive research, planning and training, so that our clients are ready and able to handle issues immediately. Our second rule is to position our clients to control the agenda. We use every avenue to ensure the messages crafted for our clients are the primary drivers in the narratives used by decisions makers and the media.
Public Affairs
The GRS team understands local, state and national level government through personal experience. The team has held positions at all levels, and continually interacts with senior leaders and policy makers to understand the issues and players. GRS helps clients understand how to frame important issues, build constituencies and execute an advocacy strategy locally and nationally.
