Organization Change
GRS has developed processes that make organizational change possible. Using our Workforce Involvement Now™ (WIN) model, we create change from the inside out. The model allows us to quickly identify critical change opportunities, build buy-in, and set specific, achievable milestones to keep the change process on track.
GRS carefully selects and designs organizational change projects and team to ensure our clients will see a win both during the process and at the end. First among our criteria is a requirement for the sponsorship from the highest levels of the organization and unfiltered access. Without that, we don’t believe a change initiative will succeed.
Identifying Change Drivers
Once signed on, we begin by carefully selecting our client team’s change leaders. We interview them thoroughly. Equally important, however, we research how well respected our prospective change leaders are in the organization. By selecting highly capable and respected change leaders, the chances of success are exponentially increased.
From there, we begin at the end first. We identify the key objectives for the project, and what changes will lead to optimal performance against these goals. We build coalitions across the organization to succeed through both formal and informal networks and isolate non-performers or resisters to ensure they’re mitigated quickly.
Outcome Focused
The GRS process is supported by aggressive employee communications and outreach. This maximizes the focus on end-goals and lessens complaining around the ‘symptoms’ of change. Our experience shows that if you can keep the organization focused on a clearly defined outcome and time period, employees will become more engaged.
The result is a change process that is clean, well-led, and results-driven. For more information on our Organization Change services, please contact GRS Partner Anthony Williams at twilliams@grsco.com.
